Kim Kardashian and Kanye West set wedding date

The rapper and the reality star are set to exchange I do’s on May 24 in Paris.

Reality star Kim Kardashian isn’t wasting anytime planning her wedding. It has now been revealed that she and fiancé Kanye West have set a wedding date. The couple is to exchange wedding vows on May 24 in Paris.

This is the date when astronomers are predicting a comet will burst through Earth’s atmosphere and create a brilliant meteor shower, lighting up the sky.

However, compared to Kim’s epic wedding to Kris Humphries in 2011, Kim said that the upcoming nuptial will be small and intimate. Talking to Ryan Seacrest's KIIS FM radio show on February 25, Kim said: 'We're having a super, super small, intimate wedding,' she told the Keeping Up With the Kardashians producer.

'As we go along, we're realizing we want it to be smaller and more intimate than people are imagining and thinking.'

However, it maybe difficult for the rapper to tone down the event. A well-placed source said:  “Kanye is obsessed with creating moments, like he did with the baseball-stadium engagement.”

'Now he's working on all these huge surprises for the wedding, but as a result she has virtually no idea what is going to happen at her own wedding. She's been kept in the dark about a lot of the details, and that doesn't make her happy.'
