Kerry Katona gives birth to baby daughter

Almost a week after the due date for her fifth child, Kerry Katona gave birth over the weekend.

Kerry Katona has finally given birth to her fifth child. After anxiously waiting for almost a week, the big day finally come on Friday. 

 

Partner George Kay took to Twitter to express his delight as he welcomes his beautiful baby daughter. He wrote: '@KerryKatona7 thank you for bringing my beautiful daughter into this world last night! You are both amazing xxxxxxxx'

 

Although she did not respond to any tweet or post any message of her own, Kerry shared the news through her own Twitter account by simply retweeting George’s original post. 

 

Initially, the couple thought that they were having a boy and have had George James Katona Kay as the baby’s name. However, in December, it was revealed that they were having in fact going to become parents of a baby girl. 

 

Although there is no confirmation from the couple, it is thought that their bundle of joy will be called Jorgie, after the father’s name, George Kay. 

 

Among the first to congratulate the happy couple are Kerry’s Atomic Kitten bandmates Natasha Hamilton and Liz McClarnon. 

 

Liz tweeted: 'Well I'm in love, baby Katona/Kay is perfect. I met her finally last night. Well done @KerryKatona7 & @mrgajkay.'

 

Natasha, who is currently pregnant with her fourth child with Ritchie Neville, said: 'A huge congrats to @KerryKatona7 & @mrgsjkay on the arrival of their baby girl. Can't wait to get back to uk and get some cuddles.'

 

Kerry is already a mother to four children. She and George got engaged last April.
