Kelly Osbourne checked herself into rehab after threatening to break a fan's finger.

The singer has confessed she suffered from dangerous mood swings at the height of her addiction to "downers" - Valium and Vicodin.

She told Britain's Glamour magazine: "This girl came up to me and pointed a finger in my face - shouting 'That's Kelly Osbourne'. When her fake nail touched my nose I just flipped.

"I grabbed her hand and said, 'Don't f**k with me, or I'm going to break your finger off'."

The 21-year-old star is not the first Osbourne to suffer from an addiction. Her famous father, Ozzy, was notorious for his drug-fuelled antics, while brother Jack - a recovering alcoholic - was the first of the siblings to be admitted to rehab.
