Keanu desperate to shake off 'The Matrix'

Keanu Reeves has begged fans not to compare his new movie with 'The Matrix'.

The handsome actor stars as supernatural detective John Constantine in new sci-fi horror blockbuster 'Constantine', but admits he is worried movie-goers will readily dismiss the flick as a 'Matrix' copy.

He said: "Hopefully people won't sit there and go, 'He's wearing a black coat, he's wearing a black coat."

Reeves, who stars opposite Rachel Weisz, also says he loved filming the new film as he got to perform a variety of dangerous stunts and even got the chance to get up close and personal with his sexy co-star in a bath.

He added to Britain's Nuts magazine: "At one point, I have to hold Rachel Weisz down in a bathtub, and in another part I got punched by a demon and went flying backwards. I almost went out of frame it was great fun."
