Kanye West rushed for emergency MRI following health scare

Just hours before performing a concert in Melbourne, Kanye West was rushed to the hospital due to a severe migraine.

Reports have confirmed that Kanye West was rushed to the emergency room just hours before performing in Melbourne. It was alleged that the singer was brought to Epworth hospital in Richmond where he was given an emergency MRI at around 2pm in the afternoon.

One witness, Loraine Kelly was in the hospital and told Woman’s Day magazine that the 37-year-old singer was ushered through the back entrance of the facility with his face partially covered. He added that the doctors had fears that the rapper had a seizure or was about to have a seizure.

However, a source told E! Online that Kanye only went to the hospital as precaution and that he was fine.

'[Kanye is] fine and didn’t have a major health scare or seizure.”

'He just suffered a migraine and went to the hospital simply as a precaution.'

Despite the health scare, the rapper left the hospital at around 4:30pm before appearing on stage at Rod Laver Arena to perform that night.
