American TV show The O.C. will welcome a new beautiful person for its second series - as teen pop legend Justin Timberlake says "California here I come".

The former financee of Britney Spears and current paramour of Cameron Diaz has been dipping his dancing feet into the acting waters in recent months, with roles in upcoming films Edison and Alpha Dog. And the Mickey Mouse Club alumnus has now signed on to appear on the small screen.

Teenhollywood reports that Justin has agreed to take on the role of a bad boy in the rich kid community of Newport, Orange County.

But while fans of the show will be licking their lips at seeing the megastar join their favourite troubled teenagers, there are some tensions in the cast.

Adam Brody, who plays loveable comic-book fan Seth Cohen, is worried as his on and off-screen girlfriend Rachel Bilson (Summer) has a rather large crush on the former 'N Sync heartthrob.
