Jordan in live TV love split

Glamour model Jordan has split with her boyfriend Alex Reid on live television.

In an interview following her quitting the ITV jungle show I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, she told hosts Ant and Dec: "I've done a lot of reflecting and I think that it's best I'm on my own.

"I just don't want to be in a relationship."

When asked if that meant she had finished with boyfriend Reid, she repeated: "I just realised I don't want to be in a relationship."

"I want to be on my own. I hope we can remain friends."

When asked precisely when this love split had happened, the model stated: "As of when I came out. I'm not with him now."

In her post-jungle interview with Ant and Dec, Jordan apologised for her behaviour over the past months, specifically regarding her breakup with pop star Peter Andre who she met on the same show five years prior.

She said: "I'm a human being, you can only take so much beating, but it's made me reflect on the past, I did act a fool, behaving like I did. I'm going to come out a better person."

Jordan's now-ex boyfriend, Alex Reid, is a cage fighter and actor. A statement from his team read: "Following yesterdayÂ’s surprise revelations that Alex ReidÂ’s relationship with Katie Price has apparently ended, Cage Fighter Films Ltd, with whom Alex has contractual obligations and responsibilities, would like to make it clear that he will continue with his business meetings associated with the film 'Cage Rage' at undisclosed locations in Australia."

"Naturally there are ongoing telephone conversations between the couple, but Alex has no further comment to make at this time regarding the state of their relationship."
