Jon Bon Jovi’s 19-year-old daughter arrested over suspected drug overdose

Jon Bon Jovi’s teenage daughter was arrested at her college over suspected drug overdose.

Jon Bon Jovi’s 19-year-old daughter Stephanie was arrested on Wednesday morning at her college over suspected drug overdose.

At around 1am on Wednesday morning, police in Upstate New York have received a call regarding Stephanie Rose Bongiovi, Jon Bon Jovi’s only daughter.

 

It was understood that Stephanie, who attends the well-respected liberal arts institution, Hamilton College, received medical treatment and was set to be released anytime on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, police who responded to the scene reportedly found a small quantity of heroin, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

 

Because of this, Stephanie was arrested and charged on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and criminally using drug paraphernalia.

However, the drug charges were dropped on Thursday according to Reuters.

Aside from Stephanie, another man was also arrested.

Jon Bon Jovi, who prides himself on his family-man reputation, was contacted but had no comment at the time.

Meanwhile, Hamilton College released a statement saying it is cooperating with the police investigation but did not specify what action it will be taking against Stephanie.
