It was last July when the rumour that Joanna Page is pregnant with her first child started, following her display of her small bump when she attended the premiere of The Dark Knight Rises.

 

On September 13, Page and her husband happily confirmed the rumour to be true tweeting: 'Happy news! Jo + I are delighted to announce we're expecting a baby! X'

Joanna is very outspoken about starting a family. During an interview with Telegraph last year, she didn’t hide her intention of having a baby saying that the time was right. 

 

She said: 'Careers, when they take off, can take your mind off babies temporarily, but I think it always comes back to when the time is right.'

 

When asked about her approach to motherhood, she quickly replied that she won’t be a “very glam” type of mother.

 

She added: 'Probably the sort who in the first week would be baking all of the cakes and then would be down the supermarket buying stuff and passing it off as my own.

'I’d also be the type who turns up with her hair in ponytail, no make-up and still in pyjamas. I wouldn’t be very glam.'
