Singer Jessie J is apparently "in tears" following news that she has been replaced by Ellie Goulding as Katy Perry's support act on her California Dreams tour.
The Price Tag star was scheduled to open for Perry over in the US this November, but was forced to pull out to give her broken foot more time to heal.
Jessie took to her Twitter page to break the news, posting:
"Having a cry about having to pull out of the Katy Perry tour.
"I am as upset as my #heartbeats (fans) believe me. My foot is just not healing as well as I hoped."
Doctors have strongly suggested that the 23-year-old cut down her busy schedule to allow her foot to heal properly.
Ellie Goulding, who performed at the Royal wedding back in April, has already been confirmed to replace Jessie, playing five shows in Hartford, Las Vegas, New York, Oakland and Los Angeles.
Perry responded to the news and sent her best wishes to Jessie via her Twitter profile, tweeting:
"Please welcome @elliegoulding to the #CaliforniaDreamsTour this November! @jessiejofficial hope you feel better soon!"
Katy will start the UK leg of her popular tour in Sheffield on 12 October.
