Jessica tipped for Bond role

Jessica Simpson is hotly-tipped to become the next Bond girl.

Film bosses have reportedly put the sexy blonde at the top of their wish list after pillow-lipped beauty Angelina Jolie and Oscar-winner Charlize Theron turned them down.

If she wins the role, Jessica will play seductive Vesper Lynd opposite new 007 Daniel Craig in 'Casino Royale'.

Earlier this week, it was revealed Charlize left Bond producers in a panic after turning down the part.

Meanwhile, Craig has admitted he is struggling to overcome his biggest fear to play James Bond - he's terrified of guns.

The hunky actor will have to handle weapons to play the dashing spy, but says he was left petrified after seeing a real life bullet wound.

The star recently said: "I hate handguns. They are used to shooting people and as long as they are around, people will shoot each other.

"I've seen a bullet wound and it was a mess."
