Jared Harris set to marry Allegra Riggio

The Mad Men star has proposed to Allegra Riggio with a custom heart-shaped diamond ring.

It is official! Jared Harris is off the market. The Mad Menstar,who left the show last year, got engaged to girlfriend Allegra Riggio. According to reports, the 51-year-old British actor popped the question to 38-year-old Allegra on Sunday, with a custom-made heart-shaped diamond in a rose-gold setting.

 

Allegra, who celebrated her birthday on Monday, confirmed the happy news on Twitter. She wrote: “We're engaged!

 

She added: “Bouncing, floating, giggling, dancing and merriment are ensuing!”

 

She later shared a picture of her engagement ring, which features the letter H, and diamonds on the band. 

 

Jared, the son of late British actor Richard Harris, played the role of Lane Pryce in the TV series Mad Men. His character died last year after he committed suicide when he was caught forging a check.
