Jackson’s Unity Reunion Tour Comes to UK in 2013

The Jackson Brothers will perform in five cities in the UK in 2013

For the first time in 28 years, The Jacksons are reunited and have shows in the US and Europe. The singing group sensation, whose hits include “ABC” and “I Want You Back”, haven’t been on tour since their 1984 Victory Tour.

Brothers Jackie, Jermaine, Marlon and Tito, will perform minus the fifth member of their group Michael Jackson, who died in 2009.

Jackie was interviewed on E! News prior to the US leg of the tour. He said: “I just wish Michael was here with us, but I'm sure his spirit will be in the house.”

Talking about their new album with record label Motown, he said: “It could have Michael—absolutely. "Wouldn't that be wonderful? As a matter of fact, we had that idea two years ago for Michael's Cirque du Soleil show.”

After the Unity Tour, the Jackson brothers are planning to work on their studio album – their first one since their 2300 Jackson Street in 1989.

Jackie reportedly said that the new Jacksons project would mean they would return to their sound, which would be kept simple, and include “a little bit of today”.

The Jackson Brothers are expected to play at Birmingham’s National Indoor Arena, Manchester 02 Apollo, Glasgow Clyde Auditorium, Bournemouth International Center, and London’s Hammersmith Apollo in 2013.

It is understood that tickets are due to go on sale on Friday morning.
