Michael Jackson is thinking about moving to the UK - after becoming enchanted with one of Britain's most famous stately homes.
The eccentric star, who has been living in Bahrain since he was cleared on child molestation charges last year, has spent the last few weeks at Cliveden - which was made famous by the Profumo sex scandal in the 1960s.
It is understood the 'Billie Jean' singer asked if he could buy the grand house.
But he was told the plush mansion belonged to the National Trust and was not available for sale.
His spokesman said: "Nobody would be surprised if Michael ended up staying in Britain."
A source close to the star told Britain's Daily Mail newspaper: "Michael has a special affinity for the UK and can see himself living there."
Meanwhile, the pop icon has become so obsessed with exercising he's doing 300 push-ups a day.
The singer's brother, Jermaine, claims his sibling is sticking to a rigorous fitness regime in a bid to build up his muscles.
He said: "He's doing 300 push-ups a day and doing sit-ups. He's getting his muscles back."
