According to a recent study conducted by Trade Union Congress, there are nearly five million workers in the UK who earns less than the living wage.
It found that over 50per cent of the workers in some areas such as Northfield in Birmingham receive less than the living wage while only over 7per cent are underpaid in South East England such as Poplar and Limehouse in East London.
