After her explosive entry into the UK charts with debut single Do It Like a Dude, Jessie J has well and truly cemented herself as the UK's hottest new diva, with her infectious ghetto-fabulous swagger and personality as big as her belting, multi-octave vocal.
Jessie J's second single, Price Tag hit the number one spot in the UK Singles Chart earlier this year and prompted the release of Jessie J's debut album to be brought forward by a month. Who You Are was released on February 28th 2011 and currently sits at number 3 in the UK Albums Chart.
Essex-bred Jessie J, who turns 23 on 27 March, has been cultivating her talents both on and off the stage. Having penned songs for Chris Brown, inspired the melody of major hit record Party In The USA performed by Miley Cyrus, and collaborated with Justin Timberlake she has an impressive pedigree.
In this video, recorded ahead of her UK tour, which begins in Glasgow on 31 March, Jessie J talks about what inspired her debut album, advice for young performers and her huge plans for the future.
