Stefanie Powers has become the first contestant to be eliminated from this years IÂ’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here.

The Hart to Hart star was removed after receiving the fewest number of audience votes, ahead of former Emmerdale actress Lorraine Chase.

The Orange Team camp-mates were all up for eviction after losing the special immunity trial.

Powers was voted out of the show over Lorraine, Willie Carson, Sinitta, Anthony Cotton and Fatima Whitbread.

After being told she was leaving, Powers said:

"Thank you so much, that's fabulous."

Speaking to hosts Ant and Dec after departing the jungle, the actress said that she was "happy" to have been evicted, after helping to raise awareness of her lung cancer charity.

The actress also spoke of SinittaÂ’s phobias and the progress the former pop star has made, saying:

"She's made tremendous strides, she actually sleeps without putting herself under her entire canopy."

However, the remaining members of the Orange Team are are not safe, as they still face eviction from the jungle due to FridayÂ’s public vote.
