I'm a Celeb host Declan Donnelly engaged after popping the question in Australia

Donnelly popped the question over the weekend to fiancé Ali, who joined him in Australia for his month-long stint in the jungle on I’m A Celebrity.

Declan Donnelly is engaged! The I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here host popped the question to his girlfriend, TV manager Ali Astall while they were in Australia over the weekend, it has now emerged.

 

Ali joined the Saturday Night Takeaway presenter for his month-long stint in the jungle for his ITV1 show. 

 

The couple has been dating for a year and a half. Ali moved into Dec’s home at the beginning of the year. Friends say that they might be getting married next summer and concentrate on starting a family. 

 

A source told the Mirror: “Dec and Ali are completely besotted with each other.

 

“They have been best friends for a long time.

 

“Dec soon realised that the he’d met the girl he wanted to spend the rest of his life with and felt ready to settle down.

 

“They’re keen to start a family and want to get hitched next year.

 

“Friends and family are delighted and see that they’re taking the next step as they’re perfect for each other.”
