Coldplay have changed the lyrics to one of their biggest hits in tribute to the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
The award-winning band, fronted by Chris Martin, paid their respects to those whose lives have been ruined by the devastating storm at a New York concert.
Chris, married to Gwyneth Paltrow, dedicated the song 'Politik' to "those on the Gulf Coast who have lost everything."
He sang: "Manhattan, Brooklyn, Bronx and Queens/ All send your love to New Orleans."
Coldplay are not the only stars using their music to support those affected by the disaster.
Yesterday (07.09.05), it was revealed Michael Jackson is recording a charity record, 'From The Bottom Of My Heart', to raise much-needed funds.
The singer said: "I will be reaching out to others in the music industry, to join me in helping to bring relief and hope to these resilient people who have lost everything."
