A lot of people are filing PPI claims these days. These are borrowers who were sold PPI without their knowledge or without getting adequate information about it. If you’re one of them, here’s how you can reclaim your credit card PPI for free.
1.The first thing to do is to check your policy to make sure that you were indeed sold PPI. Find the paper work that you signed when you took out your loan or simply review your billing statements.
If you can’t find the documents, you can simply ask for a copy from your lender. By law, they are required to provide you with this document so you don’t need to worry.
2.Write to your lender. After getting proofs that you were indeed missold PPI, the next step to take is to write to your lender to ask for a full refund. Make sure that you attach all the documents they need to process your claim.
3.Write to the Ombudsman. If your lender denied your claim, the last thing that you can do is to write a letter to the Ombudsman who will review your claim.
