A new survey has revealed that some of Britain's best eateries are being left with empty tables.
According to the study by lastminute.com, a whopping 70% of the UK's top 100 restaurants are scrambling around trying to fill their bookings and are able to offer a same day reservation.
While this could be bad news for all but the biggest celebrity chefs, it's great news for the dining public – there's more tables now as well as more deals and discounts to be found in fine dining establishments across the country.
Mark Bower from lastminute.com and head chef at top restaurant Rhodes W1, Paul Welburn, are on hand to talk about how the current climate have affected trends, and share their top tips for how to get the best tables at top restaurants.
