Before filing for one, it would be best that you understand why it is necessary or how could it be advantageous to you considering the situation you are currently in and what consequences can it bring to you now and in the future.
How could filing for bankruptcy be advantageous for you under your current situation?
- The burden will be taken off your shoulders. After filing for a bankruptcy, you no longer have to deal with your creditors. The Official receiver shall be taking charge of your assets as well as handle negotiations with your creditors.
- You will not be ripped off of some essentials so you could still be able to move on with your life.
- After the bankruptcy order is done, it is still possible for you to make a whole new start. Though it may take some time of course but you can still stand up and move on.
- Likewise, creditors will still want to get their money back so they will try to hinder these actions by the court.
- Therefore, since you already filed for bankruptcy, your debt is now written off.
