Hollyoaks' Zara to leave the soap

'Hollyoaks' babe Kelly Greenwood is leaving the soap after six years.

The 23-year-old actress, who plays Zara Morgan in the Channel 4 show, recently shot her final scenes on the show.

Producers are remaining tight-lipped about how Zara will leave, but Kelly is already making plans for her next career move.

The pretty star has revealed she would love to win a role in hit Channel 4 comedy 'Shameless'.

She said: "Watching 'Shameless' really gets me."

Earlier this week, it was revealed Kelly's co-star Alex Carter is joining rival soap 'Emmerdale'.

The 22-year-old actor, who plays Lee Hunter in the Channel 4 show, has landed a role on the ITV programme as Jamie Hope, the son of Bob (Tony Audenshaw).

He will arrive in Emmerdale in the New Year for his dad's wedding to Viv, played by Deena Payne.

Alex - who won the Best Comedy Performance honour at the British Soap Awards last year - revealed: "Jamie is a chip off the old block, but has a slightly strained relationship with his dad."
