The last thing you want to do in the summer is slap on heavy moisturiser.

But the sun can dry out our skin so pick a light lotion that makes your skin glow and keeps the sun at bay.

1. No 7 luxurious moisture lotion: £8.75
   This will appeal to girls who like their bathrooms to look pretty (the packaging is pink and sparkly). It is also hypoallergenic, so it is suitable for those with sensitive skin. It's reasonably priced and, best of all, easily available from Boots.

   Without artificial colourants, it's perfect if you have normal/oily skin, and if your skin is sensitive. As it is oil-free, you don't notice it sitting on your skin, which makes it a great base for summer make-up.
