Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin are moving to Los Angeles

Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin have decided to uproot their family and make a move from the UK to the USA.

 

The reason behind the upheaval is supposedly so the ‘Iron Man’ actress can spend more time with her mum, actress Blythe Danner, as her mother gets older. 

 

Reports confirm the couple will make L.A. their permanent base, although they still have properties in the UK.

 

“Chris and Gwyneth have wanted to move to Los Angeles for a while,” a source told the Mail Online.

 

“Gwyneth spends a lot time between the UK and the U.S. and she’s exhausted with all the traveling. The purpose of buying the lavish home in Brentwood was to make that a semi-permanent base.”

 

According to the Mail Online, Martin is okay with the move as he not only loves the city, but also his band will not be working on any new albums for the next 6-12 months.

 

It is understood the couple are looking for local private schools for their two young children, Apple and Moses, who are eight and six years old. 

 

The couple married in December 2003, and since then,it is believed that Paltrow and her family frequently fly to the US for her projects and to spend time with her mum.
