Gwyneth contacts Dad's spirit

Gwyneth Paltrow is reportedly trying to contact her dead father from beyond the grave.

The screen beauty misses her beloved dad - former film producer, Bruce Paltrow - so much she has visited a psychic several times in a bid to contact him in heaven, according to US reports.

Bruce died three years ago from throat cancer.

A source is quoted as saying: "She's still distraught over his passing. She just wants to know her father is happy."

Earlier this month, Gwyneth - who is married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin - confessed she believes her father is walking her dead dog in heaven.

The blonde star revealed she got over the death of her pet Labrador, Holden, when a friend suggested he was being looked after by her dad.

She explained: "I was really upset the day we had to put Holden to sleep until someone said that my father was walking him in heaven right now.

"I thought, 'Wouldn't it be great if that were true?'"
