Hip-hop duo OutKast bagged three gongs at last night's MTV Music Awards.
The eccentric pair, Andre 3000 and Big Boi, picked up the awards for best group, best video and best song for their hit Hey Ya!
It was also a good night for R&B star Usher who won best album for Confessions and best male artist, beating the likes of Justin Timberlake, Jay-Z and Robbie Williams.
Usher, who attended the awards ceremony with British model Naomi Campbell in tow, performed a duet with Alicia Keys.
Other live performances included former No Doubt singer Gwen Stefani, British band Franz Ferdinand and Eminem.
The controversial rapper played his anti-Bush hit Mosh and current single Just Lose It.
His band, D12, beat The Beastie Boys and Nelly to win the best hip-hop act award.
Britney Spears picked up the award for best female, while British band The Muse won two gongs.
Best pop act went to Black Eyed Peas, who faced tough competition from the likes of Robbie Williams, Anastacia and Avril Lavigne.
