American Hustle, director’s David O Russell’s take on the 1970s Abscam scandal, is this year’s biggest winner at the Golden Globes, taking home the Best Motion Picture (Comedy or Musical) award, Best Performance by an Actress in Motion Picture (Comedy or Musical), and Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture (Jennifer Lawrence).
Other winners include British director Steve McQueen who accepted the Best Picture (Drama) trophy for his searing slavery epic 12 Years a Slave.
