The world’s most expensive vacuum cleaner, which is priced at staggering £800,000 has gone on sale. Made from 24k gold-plating, it has been described as ideal for cleaning red carpets, yacht decks, and stretch-limousine.
The limited edition appliance weighs 7.5kg and comes with a certificate of authenticity. Only 100 units were produced and each is engraved with an official serial number and it comes with an 14” extra wide” cleaning nozzle with a roller-brush attachment, non-slip urethane wheels, a 10am high-performance motor, and a lifetime warranty.
A description on the online retailer Firebox.com, which carries the vacuum cleaner, reads: "Even the mind-bogglingly wealthy like a bit of therapeutic cleaning.
"The main difference is that when they clean, they use an £800,000, 24k gold-plated, high-performance vacuum to do it.
"Perfect for picking up loose bundles of cash, stocks and bonds or any leftover blood-diamonds that might be lying about."
The vacuum cleaner is part of the website's new WTF range, which includes a gold racing bike for £250,000.
