Reese Witherspoon sees ghosts.

The blonde actress was left terrified when her dead grandfather appeared in the audience while she was acting on stage.

The screen beauty, who stars in new movie 'Just Like Heaven', revealed: "I've seen my grandfather's ghost before. I was doing a play reading in New York when I saw him in the audience. When I looked up again, he was gone.

"That was right after he'd died. I definitely feel there's an energy that remains after a person has died. I don't think we know very much about it."

Meanwhile, Reese claims she feels like she is living in a hamster wheel.

The sexy star, who is busy looking after two children while holding down a successful Hollywood career, added to Britain's Cosmopolitan magazine: "The most important thing is my children being happy and healthy. As long as they're feeling good, then everything else radiates off that.

"Sometimes life just feels like a hamster wheel and you have to get off."
