Chocolate lovers have been warned about a batch of Galaxy Cookie Crumble that was recalled over a piece of plastic. Shops that are selling the chocolates have already been alerted.
The manufacturer of the said chocolate, Mars Chocolate UK, is recalling Galaxy Cookie Crumble weighing 114g that feature batch codes PB21, PB22, and PB 23 with a “best before” end date of 16 August 2015. This batch, according to the company, may contain a small piece of white plastic.
Meanwhile, the Food Standards Agency confirmed that no other products made by Mars Chocolate UK are affected.
In a statement, Mars UK said: “Mars takes quality and food safety seriously and we apologise for any inconvenience caused to our consumers”.
