Two adults and two teenagers have died when the home of tennis star James Blake was engulfed in fire.
Police investigating the case believe that the fire was started deliberately and said that two of the bodies found appeared to have “upper-body trauma.” They are now considering the murder-suicide angle.
Hillsborough County Sheriff's Colonel Donna Lusczynski added that the scene was “unusual” as there were “various fireworks” throughout the property.
The victims, who are yet to be identified, had been renting the property for the past two years.
However, voter registration records identify the couple renting the property as Darrin Campbell and his wife, Kimberley.
A former neighbour, George Connley said: "They were a very nice family, we know nothing of any problems. The kids were outstanding children."
34-year-old Blake, who retired from professional tennis last year, was not at the property when the fire broke out at 6am.
