Wearable gadgets have topped this year’s ultimate shopping wishlist released according to retailers Currys and PC World.

Retailers PC World and Currys have released their top ten Christmas 2014 bestseller predictions with wearable gadgets including smart watch Samsung Gear Fit and the fitness tech band Fitbit Force on top of the list.
Rupert Nichols, Head of Mobile Computing and Connectivity at Currys & PC World, commented: “Customers are focusing on their health and fitness more than ever before and portable technology is very much the future, as busy customers want to be able to do more things remotely and conveniently.
"We have seen a steady rise in sales of wearable technology but we expect to sell a lot more units this Christmas as everyone will want to trim up in the New Year.”
NutriBullet, a high-speed blender and juicer, also made it to the list along with the KitchenAid stand mixer. The GoPro action camera and Google Chromecast streaming dongle also made it to the top 10 as well as iPad Mini and Sonos Multi Room Sound System.
Simon Exton, Head of Category for Computing at Currys & PC World, added: “We’ve noticed that connected devices are increasing in popularity this year. Consumers are looking for that something extra that makes their lives even easier to lead, and smart products like the Chromecast tick all the boxes.”
