The management simulation program Football Manager 2013 will hit shelves on November 2, according to Sports Interactive.
The release date has been officially announced along with the announcement of a beta version that will be released two weeks before the launch. The beta version will be available to fans who pre-order the game from participating retailers or pre-purchase it as a digital download.
The beta will contain most of the new features of the game and will be playable until the 5th of November. All progress played in the beta version can be transferred into the main game.
Sports Interactive’s Miles Jacobson has released a statement saying: “Our fans are very good at letting us know what they want and the one thing that's consistently at the top of their wish list is an earlier release date.”
Although Sports Interactive will not be able to grant that wish, Jacobson described the beta version as ‘the next best thing... a fully playable Football Manager they can get their hands on around two weeks before the finished game hits the streets’.
Football Manager 2013 is expected to include over 900 new or enhanced features and will be launched with two different modes – Classic and Challenge. The Classic mode presents a simplified version of the core game, while the Challenge mode allows short-term plays.
