It’s probably not part of her job description but Florence Welch acted as a supernanny to some fans who were fighting during her concert in Aberdeen.
The lead singer, who was singing “Shake It Out” at the time, noticed some fans near the front row fighting. The distraction forced the singer to stop and say, as quoted by the Mail Online: “No fighting allowed... It doesn't matter whose fault it is.”
Sounding more like a nanny than a singer, she refused to continue with the show until the fans made peace. A female fan was reportedly seen crying and Florence apparently dove into the audience to give her a loving embrace.
The singer did end up continuing the show.
Posting her thoughts on Twitter about what happened, the singer wrote: “YES ABERDEEN!! #NOSHOES #NO FIGHTING!! we love you Scotland. Xx”
