Jamie Dornan signed a contract stating there will be no full frontal nudity in Fifty Shades of Grey film, the star himself has now revealed.
The 32 year old actor, who will be playing Christian Grey in the eagerly awaited adaptation of the erotic bestseller, said: "There were contracts in place stating that viewers wouldn't see my, um, my todger.”
Asked whether he was at some point aroused while shooting some scenes, he replied: “Anyone who thinks actors get turned on doing sex scenes in films is mistaken.
“There are dozens of hairy men standing around, moving cables and lighting equipment. That's not sexy unless you're into being watched, which I'm not.”
Defending his upcoming film against critics who claimed that the story glamorised sexual violence, he said: “I think it's very hard to argue that when it is all consensual. Half the book is about making contracts. Permission and agreement that this be done. There's no rape, no forced sexual situations.”
He added: “All I can say is, wait until you see it before passing judgement.”
Fifty Shades will be released on February 14, 2015.
