A new ferry crossing is built and it was recently announced that the name has been selected after approximately 35,000 votes were cast. The new crossing will be deemed Queensferry Crossing as a nod to Queen Margaret who originally created the ferry crossing and gave North and South Queensferry their names. The project is estimated to cost roughly £1.6 billion.
Luckily the rest of us don’t need to worry about those types of amounts since our project are usually ones like obtaining a home or vehicle. It’s still quite a process and some of us might feel a little frazzled with faced with the ever-growing to-do list. Here are a few ways that you can keep organized when applying for a mortgage or vehicle loan.
- Keep everything—this can’t be stressed enough. No matter how tiny a scrap of paper is keep it. If you think you have a duplicate of a mortgage or vehicle loan form, keep it. Essentially, whatever is given to you, keep it. You never know when you might need it.
- Organize—this might be a nasty word to some of us, but it really can help you lower the stress levels when trying to navigate the process of obtaining a mortgage or vehicle loan. If you have a place to keep everything that pertains to the process you won’t ever feel flustered about gathering up the necessary documents or information.
- Get help—if you are trying to do all of the home hunting, scheduling, calling and organizing on your own, you might get burned out quickly. You may have friends or relatives who would love to help and who know your tastes. Enlist their help to sort through home listing and make calls on your behalf whenever possible. Then you can focus on the types of things with your mortgage or vehicle loan that require your involvement.
