Adam Rickitt, the ex-Corrie actor who used to play Nick Tilsley, is set for another dramatic career change.
He's already flirted with the worlds of pop and modelling, as well as sharing the first gay kiss on the Street with Todd Grimshaw, played by Bruno Langley.
But his next move will come as a surprise to everyone. He has been selected as a potential Tory MP.
This means that any constituency might chose him as their next representative, and the former Nick Tilsley might find himself in Westminster.
A spokeswoman for the Conservatives said: "It's fantastic that we are coming up with exciting candidates who could then enter parliament.
"He would still be quite young by the time of the next election."
In fact he will be about 33, but in the Tory party 30-somethings have hardly been born they're so young.
