Lily Allen has got into another war of words on Twitter, this time targeting The Sun journalist, Julie Burchill.
However, this latest public row seems to have been triggered by Burchill, after the outspoken columnist declared in an article about Cheryl Cole:
"I adore the way she [Cheryl] spat back at that over-privileged cry-baby Lily Allen when the public-school tool took a poke at her way back in the day."
Allen voiced her opinion on the piece, writing on Twitter:
"Julie Burchill, you are an ignorant and bitter old troll, but I guess you know that already.
"The amateur psychiatrist in me says see's a lot of her younger self in me, and she's a bit of a 'self-loather'."
Reacting to the tweet, Burchill told the London Evening Standard:
"For someone who doesnÂ’t want to be famous any more she spends a lot of time reading about herself and tweeting.
"Oooh, I do love a scrap."
This is not the first time the Allen has been involved in a public falling out with a celebrity.
Lily and Cole were famously involved in a bitter war of words back in 2007, when the Girls Aloud star branded Lily a "chick with a d**k".
Lily responded, saying:
"Cheryl if youÂ’re reading this, I may not be as pretty as you but at least I write and SING my own songs without the aid of autotune."
