Former Coronation Street star Steven Arnold is the latest contestant to be voted off ITV1 skating reality show, Dancing on Ice.

Arnold, who played Ashley Peacock in the soap, found himself at the bottom of the leader board after scoring just seven out of a possible 30.

He lost out in the skate-off to cricketer Dominic Cork and was told by the judges that he would be going home.

Steven told hosts Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby that he'd loved his time on the show, before praising his skating partner, Nina Ulanova:

"I've put my heart and soul into this. And I just want to say that Nina has been like a big sister, so thank you very much."

Arnold's character, Ashley, was killed off over Christmas in the notorious Weatherfield tram crash, after 15 years on the soap.
