Electrical car sales surpass 2012 figures this year

The growing popularity of electronic and hybrid cars has seen sales increase a certain number of times since 2010.

A lot of people are embracing green technology. The trend is such that more and more people are gravitating towards pure electronic and hybrid cars. The reasons are simple: reduced carbon dioxide emissions and taking advantage of the tax breaks that come with purchasing it.

Numbers don’t lie and as it stands, there has been a huge increase in order for electric cars as of last year. It has been reported that, according to the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders there has been a 70 per cent increase in orders and registration as of July 2012.

It has been reported that part of the reason for this is believed to be that some models have significantly dropped in pricing. And that improved infrastructure has also been attributed to the rising interest in electric car sales.
