Dolly Parton has released a brief statement hitting back at claims by some critics (including Sky newsreader Kay Burley) that she was miming.
The country pop legend, famed for her tunes 9-5, Jolene and I Will Always Love You, stated: "My boobs are fake, my hair's fake but what is real is my voice and my heart."
Parton's performance saw her sing and also play guitar, banjo, violin and saxophone to a crowd of 100,000 festival goers.
The 68-year-old's set on the Pyramid (main) stage met with rave reviews.
Parton's spokesman told the Sun: "It's ridiculous to suggest Dolly was miming. She's been performing for more than 60 years – she doesn't need to.
"This should not overshadow what was truly a great gig and accomplished performance. Dolly adored every single moment."
