Children all over the world crave toys. You ask them what they want for their birthday or for Christmas, and they’ll most likely ask for toys. It is such a joy to see your little ones beam as they open the box and play with their new toys.
However, it’s sad that although manufacturers try to make all toys safe, there are still defective ones that make it to the market. Defective toys can harm children as well as put a negative slant on the manufacturer’s reputation as well.
A sharp edge may lead to dangerous cut; toys containing small parts can pose choking hazards to small children; and toxic paint can suffocate little ones.
It is for this reason that parents and guardians must know how to carefully choose the toys to give their children.
Toy manufacturing companies, have the responsibility of ensuring their toys are not only fun but safe as well.
To make this happen, they must have strict quality check before they make their toys available in the market. They must also provide warnings and instructions on their labels. Lastly, they must ensure not to use any toxic substances that can put children in harm’s way.
