Actress Daryl Hannah has been arrested outside the White House, after she took part in a protest against the construction of gas pipelines.
The Kill Bill star participated in the sit-in to make her feelings known about a proposed pipeline that would stretch from Canada to the Gulf of Mexico.
According to a police spokesman, she initially refused to move, before being handcuffed and taken away.
Hannah was later released from custody after she paid her $100 fine.
Before her arrest, Daryl spoke out about the plans, saying that US President Barack Obama could be voted out of office if he does not abandon them:
"He needs to just make the right decision. If he doesn't make that right decision, I'm sure we will see huge effects in the next election."
This is not the first time the star has been in trouble with the law.
She was arrested back in 2006 for protesting against bulldozing farms in Los Angeles, and again in 2009 for demonstrating against mountaintop removal work in West Virginia.
