Justin Hawkins has become a professional darts player.
The Darkness frontman, who is currently recording the band's second album, has been officially recognised as one of the game's experts and plans to compete under the title, The Hawk.
A spokesman said: "Justin has always considered himself a darts player first and foremost and throws with precision and skill."
The glam rocker, who also plans to host a darts-based celebrity TV show, was given the honorary pro-ranking after signing up with sports manufacturers BW-darts to design his own range of arrows.
He said: "I've got the silk shirts and the darts. All I need to do now is work on my game."
Meanwhile, the skinny singer is set to release a solo album - titled 'British Wail' - after finding time to record material without his brother Dan or the other bandmates.
He said: "It's a lot less rock than the band stuff.
"I'd written most of it in demo form before The Darkness took off but I've only finished it properly recently. Anything I write with Dan goes to the band but I've held on to my solo stuff."
