Dannii Minogue is set to join a rival television talent show on the BBC, according to reports.
The 39-year-old announced this week that she would not be returning to the X Factor, due to work commitments.
However, it seems that her talent as a judge will not be wasted, as the BBC is reportedly lining her up to appear on their version of US singing contest, The Voice.
A source told The Sun:
"Bosses really want Dannii, as she was hugely popular on the X Factor and really knows her stuff.
"She mentored Matt Cardle to the crown last year and is really good with contestants. She would be great on The Voice."
The show features wannabes singing for votes solely based on their voice, as the judging panel have their backs to the stage.
US judges on the programme have included Cee-Lo Green, Christina Aguilera and Maroon 5's Adam Levine.
Minogue confirmed her departure from the X Factor via her website, saying:
"I am so disappointed that I can't be a part of The X Factor this year. I'm going to miss the show and the amazing team who work so incredibly hard on it.
"Team Minogue will continue to fly a flag later this year when the amazingly talented, and last year's winner, Matt Cardle releases his debut album."
