Danielle Lloyd is engaged to footballer Jamie O'Hara, it has been revealed.

23-year-old Portsmouth star O'Hara proposed to the former Miss England while on a romantic holiday in Paris.

The happy couple revealed their news in an interview with OK! magazine.

"I had no idea he was going to propose. I thought I was dreaming," Lloyd told the magazine.

"I don't know how he kept it secret because I usually find out everything - he'd spoken to my mum and even asked my dad's permission!

"As soon as he asked me, I burst into tears like a little baby.

"When he put the ring on my finger the light show at the Eiffel Tower went off and it was sparkling all over the city."

Glamour model Lloyd previously dated DJ Ironik in September 2008.

However, she says that this time it's for real and that is was love at first sight from the minute she met the midfielder.

She said: "You just know when you've met the one. We have similar personalities and tastes.

"I just love him, he's perfect."

The couple, who began dating in April, are said to be planning a lavish ceremony for 2011.
