Johnson Beharry has missed out on a place in the Dancing on Ice final, after losing to Chloe Madley in the skate-off.
The war hero was voted off in Sunday's semi-final show, after finishing in the bottom two with Chloe, when public votes and judges' scores were combined.
After their skate-off, hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield handed over to the judges, who all chose to save Madeley, despite her tripping slightly in her earlier routine.
Johnson took the news well and told the crowd:
"There's no need to be said. I had loads of fun - the time of my life."
His skating partner Jodeyne Higgins said of Beharry:
"Every moment I have been out of the ice with this man has been truly inspirational."
Next week will see Chloe, Eastenders' Sam Attwater and presenter Laura Hamilton compete for the Dancing on Ice trophy.
Catch the final at 7.40pm on ITV1.
