Cruz's love for McConaughey

Penelope Cruz has spoken of her love for boyfriend Matthew McConaughey - saying how "wonderful" he is.

While the stunning actress, who began dating the handsome actor after splitting from Tom Cruise last year, says she doesn't like to talk too much about her personal life, she insists she's very happy.

She said: "Matthew is lovely, a wonderful man. But I feel more protective about my personal life every day. It always seems to go wrong when you share too much."

Despite her two most recent relationships being with actors, the Spanish beauty says she isn't concerned what her boyfriend does for a living.

She added in an interview with In Style magazine: "For me, being with another actor doesn't make it more difficult or easier. It's just good to have someone who understands you."

Last month, it was claimed Matthew was set to propose to Penelope after asking for her father's permission.
