Cruise picks baby name

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have decided on a name for their child.

However, the couple will not reveal what they're going to call their first-born - who is due any day.

Cruise, who already has two adopted children with ex-wife Nicole Kidman, came clean on a German TV show.

The actor - who is promoting new movie, 'Mission Impossible 3' - also confirmed to a German newspaper he will wed the former 'Dawson's Creek' star this summer.

Cruise revealed: "I won't let this woman get away. First the baby, then the film. Then in summer we want to get married."

The birth of their child - believed to be a girl - is so close that Cruise joked during the show that he had two pilots on standby ready to fly him back the US should Holmes go into labour.

He said: "If Katie calls, I'm gone? She could be having our baby at any minute."

Meanwhile, the actress is reportedly eating Indian food in a bid to start labour.

It is a popular myth that spicy foods can bring on childbirth.
